Pre-requisites:

If you are applying or referring somebody to this role, these are the must-haves attributes:


  • 4+ years of extensive frontend development experience.
  • A deep expertise in JavaScript.
  • Good experience working with Javascripts/TypeScript and its frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile/ Kanban teams. 
  • Knowledge of usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, and HTML document architecture and build a culture with his/her peer group to adhere to these.
  • Good visual design sense, in-depth experience in developing web-based applications.
  • Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking.
  • Good to have experience with latest technologies like HLS.js

Responsibilities

 

  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and smoothly turn them into congruent scenarios, usable flows, and simple, intuitive interfaces with finesse.
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
  • Apply user-focused design processes to create high quality user experiences across platforms.
  • Understand the user experience strategy for the product and drive the overall design solutions based on usability, consistency, business goals, time to market and customer experience.
  • Bring critical experience and skills in visual design, UX design, research, micro-interactions and be cognisant about the constraints of front-end coding.
  • Bring the demonstrated ability to build webpages for mobile and desktop from scratch using React JS.

If you are applying or referring somebody to this role, these are the must-haves attributes:

  • Good hands on experience with selenium and appium.
  • Able to develop a testing framework from scratch using any language like Java/python.
  • Must have experience in mobile, Web  and API testing.
  • video/widget testing experience will be a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop testing frameworks to provide thorough coverage of implemented features, configuration changes and other change requests
  • Use Selenium/Appium or similar tools for testing UI for various front-end technologies.
  • Use simulators for mobile/Web and multiple browser testing
  • Create re-useable frameworks for testing practice 
  • Automate test cases and updating the tracking systems after testing is complete
  • Regression test applications prior to release into UAT and production environments
  • Identify, isolate, replicate, report and track issues to closure in an issue tracking system (JIRA)
  • Review requirements, providing feedback on completeness, testability and other risk areas
  • Estimate assigned tasks and provide regular status updates to project team, supervisors and project managers
  • Maintenance testing environments including user accounts, configs and deployments
  • Participate in identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities within QA and broader project teams
  • Ad-hoc development using low-code platform whenever possible
